How to use BB Code (Bulletin Board Code).

2 reasons for this thread. Firstly to everyone, as a help/guide of the bb code in use on this forum. I cannot find a single, central place where this sort of help is available (but rather it is scattered about in several posts). And secondly as a sort of self-help for me (for now) so I can learn the bb code available to use.

All feedback is welcome, btw, especially if I have missed something out.

First up, the basics...
Note: I have included what you need to type with extra spaces in the square brackets. For example, [ b ] should actually be [b] when you are typing it.

bolded text
[ b ]bolded text[ /b ]

italicized text
[ i ]italicized text[ /i ]

underlined text
[ u ]underlined text[ /u ]

bolded, underlined and italicized text
[ b ][ i ][ u ]bolded, underlined and italicized text[ /u ][ /i ][ /b ]

Note: If you are combining bb codes you need to finish each one off in reverse order. For example [1][2][3]text[/3][/2][/1] and not [1][2][3][/1][/2][/3].

blue text [ color=blue ]blue text[ /color ]

magenta text
cyan text
purple text
brown text
teal text
white text <<<white

yellow text



[ left ]Text Left Justified[ /left ]






Then you have quoting
