P-P-P-P-P-P-P-P-Pancake Day

Quite possibly THE most important day of the year.

For those of you partaking in the religious tradition of clearing your larder of crap I would recommend the following recipe:

110g/4oz plain flour, sifted
pinch of salt
2 eggs
200ml/7fl oz milk mixed with 75ml/3fl oz water
50g/2oz butter

(Courtesy Mrs Norwich FC)

Best eaten with the classic lemon & sugar filling or a good layer of Nutella.

Feel free to share your own tips and pancake photos below.

You're eager! Are you preparing all the pancakes for tomorrow already? Grin

I've got to go out to a meeting at 7pm, so not sure if I'll get time to make any.

I am not preparing pancakes yet. I am preparing people to prepare pancakes. You can never be too prepared.

I won't be home much before 7.30 tomorrow. I'll still make some though.

Shove your nutella wherever you pervert!

I want proper pancakes, nice and thin with loads of sugar and lemon juice.

I haven't decided yet, but I would like to. Unfortunately me, being the dumb*ss I am, bought loads of fresh fruit and veg at the weekend so I don't want it to go off.

Fancy making vegan pancakes actually after I had some recently and was impressed. I'm veggie anyway but I wouldn't mind reducing my dairy consumption.

My wife and daughter will be making some pancakes. And judging by previous baking offerings, I'll be left with the ones that haven't turned out as well.
