Awesomenauts Assemble (is it worth getting, who is playing it)?
I was just wondering if anybody has picked this up or can strongly recommend it based on the original?

I had the original on my PS3 but never got around to playing it… and then the PS3 died, so it is not an option to play the original any more.

For the price it is this week with + it seems like a good game to pick up but how strong is the community likely to be on there? I have made the mistake before of buying games that are best for online and then realising hardly anyone plays it.

So what are peoples mini reviews on the game?

EDIT:

OK I caved in and bought it (it's £6.50 so what the heck). I never got into the original version on PS3 as my connection seemed to always stutter. Didn't noticed that at all in the 3 games I played.

I still absolutely suck at it but it looks great and is highly addictive.

I played a fair bit of the original awesomenauts on PC, really enjoyed it, definitely best played with friends, and if you're interested in learning the ropes of how to play a moba but intimidated by LoL or DOTA2 like I was, its a great starter. My friend and I have subsequently started playing DOTA2 a lot, so beware - we found it to be something of a gateway MOBA!
