Condemned
I have only played the first two levels so far but I really like it and the graphics still hold up a little to today's shooters.
Unlike Metro 2033 which was the last horror shooter I played this actually has somekind of atmosphere to it which felt very Saw/Seven and quite grounded in reality.
The evidence bits are bit fidly mind but depends quite heavily on your memory when getting from A to B as the levels are quite dark with only a torch to see where you are going or hitting.

Total bargain for four quid so far from what I have played.

Anyone played this then?

I played it quite some time ago. It's a good game, very atmospheric at times. And there is a scene in the department store which I found rather memorable.

I tried it a while ago at a mates place. It is very atmospheric but I found the melee a little to clunky to begin with.

Tried the demo of Condemned 2 on PS3 and I drew the same conclusions.

I'm sure it'd be worth a bargain buy though. 4 quid sounds good to me.

Played it when it was first released and it was a genuinely creepy game - especially through a good sound system.
There was a part in the department store when I nearly Sh!t my pants - LOL!
For some reason I can't remember though I never finished it and I never got round to even trying the second game.

Yeah it has a great atmosphere in the game and the use of sound and lighting in the game is brilliant.
Just a shame I have no sound system at the moment, esspecially when you have crack heads coming out of no where with shotguns sometimes.
Only on the fifth level at the mo but already I have been really impressed with it's ideas.

Got Condemned 2 but haven't played it for ages. The combat is a bit clunky but it's still decent graphics and atmosphere. I should really give it another go...

I remember playing the demo for the first game and enjoying it, even though I know full-well that my nerves would be ripped to shreds if I bought the full game and played through it. Maybe I need to just man-up!
