Do you get the feeling...
When you play MMOs, do you ever get fed up of using the same class? Cause few of my friends keep telling me, "Again? Don't you wanna try -insert class here-." Mellow

The feeling is mutual. Lol. For instance, I'm playing iRO with few of my friends, always nagging me to create character for support even if I keep telling them I hate support types. Glare

I always make a warrior-type class in MMOs I play but have recently switched to mage-type.

Problem is... I don't feel as comfortable with them and end up switching back to my default 'class'. No idea why >.<

Yeah it's like no matter how I try other types I also end up switching back to thief/hunter. Unless if my favorite class is not available...LOL

I used to try to create characters that reminds me of myself, with abilities, backgrounds, weapons and such that I can imagine myself using...

I'm not a very large guy physically in real life for example, so my chars in-game tend to be the more agile leather wearing types. Likewise not being very strong, I tend to favour single handed weapons, or the bow, since I have done a bit of archery back when I was at school. I'm a bit of a loner too, so not surprisingly my early chars in MMOs were mainly rangers or rogue types.

More recent times though I've started rolling a lot of healer types. And pantless chars. A lot of pantless chars. Heh, who needs pants? Not me!

Speaking of favorite class, the mobile app on android 'Valkyrie Uprising' I was waiting for just came out, unfortunately the thief/archer class in not available. Might as well use 'Swordsman' since its pretty close to thief. Shifty

If it's an awesome class, like for example a Warrior, if it keeps getting upgrades and more armor and weapons that come quickly, no I don't really get that feeling. I'm patient with MMO's, most of the time. Wink
