Some interesting and reasonable scores there. The only one which stands out for me (after recent threads) is the paltry score for Excitebots. My anticipation for it is dented. |

| It may be rough around the edges, but I'm actually rather enjoying Damnation. Also after playing and enjoying Wanted, I can't see Terminator: Salvation (both developed by GRIN) being as bad as a 3. Yes my taste in games can be considered as bad, and no I don't give a toss. |

| Because it is not possible that Boom Blox is better, AMIRITE? Oh well, here comes the inevitable "EDGE ARE SONY HATERS" cry from the internet. It's been quite quiet since Killzone 2.
I'm very disappointed by the Excitebots score, and also a little unthrilled about Muramasa. Mostly, though, The Sims 3 is the one that shocks me. I really didn't expect EDGE to give that anything above 5.
Buzz, I thumbed you up for daring to have your own opinion! |

| Boom Blox - 87.50%
inFAMOUS - 87.70%
Gamerankings is an adverage of every score from "big" reviewers, so I'd say it's trustworthy.
I know metacritic is better but it looks messy... |

| Metacritic also, rather conveninetly from your point of view, has Boom Blox at 87 with inFAMOUS at 85. Suffice it to say that there are clearly others out there who agree with EDGE. Eurogamer, 1up, and Teletext Game Central are all completely independent, and they all prefer the Wii game. |

| I haven't played either, but I have noticed a trend in the past that people tend to assume that a large game with a lot to do must be better than a small game that doesn't do much. Surely a game with a limited scope, if it pulls it off well must be just as good as something that has a wide scope but fails to achieve it?
Infamous may well end up suffering from GTA 4 disease. People love it for the first half, then decide it's actually the worst game EVER for the rest. |

| Although i dont agree on the worst game ever, i do feel that games with less to do can concentrate all their efforts to make the little great. GTA tried to make a lot great and almost succeeded and with the exceptions of Gears, Mass Effect, Bioshock so on not alot can pull it off. |

| Do they go out and get sunlight to there skin by any chance? I'm guessing they don't like any games at all. |

| I quite like edge's harshness. If edge gives a game a 6 it means they consider it better than average. Anything over that and they consider it a really good game. going up to 9 and 10 means they find it to be epic. I think too much faith has been put in the higher numbers by most reviewers, giving anything under 7 the perception of being awful. If the only scores that matter at 6 to 10, then there's no point having 1 to 5. |
