Well folks, the year is rapidly coming to a close and I think it's time we started to consider what our games of 2009 are. I know there are a few big releases left to come out, and at this point in time I'm not looking for a final list, but what I would ask is that you have a think about what games you have enjoyed playing this year; which ones have been a pleasant surprise; which ones have been a bargain.

I want to try to keep this thread positive, so I'm not going to ask you for your opinions on the crappest games of 2009 (someone else can create a seperate thread if they like).

What games would you like to see make it into the final vote off?

Suggestions, please, ladies and gents...

Street Fighter IV, by a country mile. 2nd place may well end up going to Borderlands, as I am extremely impressed so far. All that being said, there is also the distinct possibility that Left 4 Dead 2 makes it back-to-back Valve titles from me!

Sadly, Scribblenaughts didn't last much beyond the first few days of "Wow" factor, mostly because I found some over-powered items. But, it is still an absolute must-play.

Even though it has got very little love from the forumites here for some strange reason I'm pretty sure Forza 3 should be on the list as well.

BrĂ¼tal Legend or Borderlands for me. Dragon Age looks a strong contender too.

I love Uncharted 2 its one of the best games ive played so I'd have to say that over anything else. I enjoyed Killzone 2 a lot as well, the multiplayer is awesome.
