Hello, I have come here to provide my feeback on Videogamer. I have no wish to join the community, reading the posts of others is adequate enough for me to garner opinion and judgement.
A podcast second only to GiantBomb.
In no particular order of greatness
The Gastman - courted controversy in very first line of his Hawx review which went right over the heads of most people. Terrorism - file it with smoking gun, incumbent in the overly used dictionary of recent political powers. The recent honest assessment of Move and it's failure to do so in the last podcast is the kind of journalistic comment we gamers want to hear.
Miss Gera - Finally a female perspective in gaming from a true girl gamer, just read the R.U.S.E. review, compared to Joystiq review of the game by a sister, her qualifications have no bounds. Excellent addition makes the comparitive Ellie Gibson look the total fake.
Jamin - On the whole his gaming taste varies most from mine, even so his critique is spot on and should I dip into genre's I don't normally enjoy his reviews have great value.
New video producer - another sound addition and his work what little I have seen is certainly on a par with if not better than previous.
Neon - perfect chairperson for the podcast never the same when Seb sat in.
TomO - best reviewer on the web for me, acurate reviews of the games pros and cons, delivered in a flat no nonsense way.
Finally There is a God!!! Seb and Wes have gone!!!
Gone are the over indulgent Streetfighter articles from Wes, who now apparently regurgitates news at the web pit that is Eurogamer. Gone is Seb to Graveyard that is Gamespot once a know for gaming journalism greats whose biggest name now is the girl who once did sentuamessage.
So keep up the good work, leaves the likes of Mr. Minkley, Wes and Ellie over at Eurogamer in the shade. Viva VideoGamer!!!

You have no wish to join the community? But... you just did... with your post. That's like saying you have no wish to smoke, just as you spark up a tab (although going by the length of your post perhaps a cigar would make a better similie).
Whether or not you choose to post again is of course your choice, but you will always be welcome to post again.

I'm actually beginning to miss Wes a bit from the podcast, don't get me wrong the new guys are doing well and I'm glad there is less talk about Street Fighter, but I related to Wes more than the rest of the guys...and he was hilarious. Still a traitor though.
The GOTY video this year could be interesting...I have faith.

I have to agree with that accurate assessment.
With Seb now gone, I can also admit that I didn't like the podcast when he was in the hot seat. Don't get me wrong, his videos were great... but his video game knowledge wasn't. Sorry Seb.

Haha, "new video producer', His name's Tom Pearson :P
InvalidUser, you've made so many constructive points here and I agree with most of them.
However, I will always regard Seb and Wes highly, and very much wish them a massive amount of luck with their careers in their new positions.
Even though I disagree with this part, you still stated it fairly constructively.
InvalidUser for MOTM :P Haha

Personally I enjoy Neon's reviews the most because more often than not they're hilarious, though all the staff on the site are extremely talented writers.
I did enjoy Seb and Wes' contributions to the podcast, and without Wes' enthusiasm I don't think I would have picked up Street Fighter, which is now a large part of my gaming life. Tom Pearson and Miss Emily Gera have done a fantastic job replacing them however, and I hope they'll stick around for a good while yet
VideoGamer.com is also the only site I will go to for news, previews and reviews apart from the devs' or conventions' sites themselves (although I find I tent to use the VG.com hubs for conventions) because I know the standard of content is always very high and the reviews are definitely more accurate than those on the other large websites.
Brief summary: VideoGamer rules.
