| No threads are going around for Resi-Evil 5, so what are your thoughts about the demo. Seeing as its coming out on friday has any reviews swung your deicison to buy Resi-Evil 5?
For me if it wasn't for GAME having them trade-in value books going around I would of most probably waited. I needed to get rid of some games which I don't play and some that I thought I would like turning to dislike them in the end. The demo of Resi-Evil 5 was good but wasn't enough to show what Resi-Evil 5 was going to be like. Its a survival horror shooter and Resi-Evil 5 has them.
Survival - Aim, shoot, run and continue process.
Horror - The 'infected' and the parasites plus the mini bosses.
Shooter - Aim, shoot and blowing heads off with the shot-gun.
When I played the demo there was no sense of that 'Resident-Evil feel' on which I got from the previous ones. I've read some reviews and it has swung my deicison to get it more sooner than I expected. I really think that the demo may of not shown all of what Resi-Evil 5 can do but there is something that is installed for us, I can just sense it.
Keep all Resident-Evil discussion in here and share your experiences and thoughts about the old Resi-Evils and to the run up of Res-Evil 5.
So, what are your thoughts about Res-Evil 5 and have you changed your opinion about it since the demo got released? |

| When I played Resident Evil on PS1 it was fresh and that helped mask some annoying design faults (illogical puzzles, those doors etc), I liked Resi 2 but then didn't get on with the rest of the series. I guess I'm just not a big Resident Evil fan. |

| I played the demo again earlier with my girlfriend, to remind myself of it. It's very good, but I don't know if I'll be getting it. I wouldn't want to play it non-co-op, that much I do know, as it is clearly designed to be played with someone else.
If it wasn't for MadWorld, I would probably choose it as my MOM prize. But I think unless something happens to allow me to afford it without blinking that I have other games ahead of it on the list right now. |

| I'd go with Madworld myself CheekyLee, though I'd warn you that everyone saying the downside is that it's a pretty short game.
However, most Resi fans seem to think its a good refinement on the series and I'm sure any fans of 4 will love this one. |

| Co-op is going to be brillant for Res-Evil 5. At first I had mixed feelings with Resi-Evil 5 playing it on my own. Then I went online and played it with a friend and its very good co-op wise.
Replayed the demo on singleplayer and its a thumbs up to be a good game to have in your collection, fan or no fan. I can see a rise on people having it when its lower in price. |

| The game split us right down the middle in the office. Tom loved it, of course, as you'll know from the review. For me though, I can't get past not being able to move and shoot. I know it's a Resident Evil thing and it's very unique to the series, but it's something that puts me off. |
