| The new trailer located here
Ok so i am not really into the button bashing fighting games, i mean i used to be but they never really hung around my thoughts as the epic story that was FF7 etc took over.
But honestly, the past few months of this year i have really been considering looking into getting one, or well Street Fighter IV. And seeing this new trailer, it was like And i know the game wont play it but a trailer like that has influenced me, and not many trailers do that especially in a gaming genre that i dont particularly take much interest in.
Maybe i am changed? I have t wait until I get it. |

Whilst that footage is the absolute coolest thing in the entire history of anything ever, it is my sad duty to report to you that the game itself is nothing like that. Which is actually a good thing, because something like that would be completely unplayable. |

| Oh you can button bash, but you won't get very far.
The only fighter you can't even remotely do this with is Virtua Fighter. Though the actual act of button bashing is really only fully achieved by kids, any adult mashing frantically and pulling off moves still knows vaguely what they're doing they just lack finesse and proper timing.
BTW this is awesome

| Lets not jump on the 'bandwagon' because Ninjustu has said its a 'button bashing' game. All fighters are a button bashing game.... However.... Fighting games offer different play styles. When I play SFIV, I don't button bash and I'm gathering the same as everybody else does.
I use aerial and ground attacks and then somehow pull of a super combo or ultra combo to really deliever some chicken supreme at my foe I'm against. (BUT IT NEVER HAPPENS!) Yes, I suck at doing the more complex moves. As the instruction manual at first didn't really help for the controls straight the way. I felt forced to button bash at the start to know which button did what.
Would of been nice if they had the X, Triangle, O, Square button symbols than K, P and B and then direction of the stick to perform the move. I soon got use to the controls and then knew what buttons I press, so reading the instruction manual or move lists via in-game didn't effect me. It was just trying to pull of the move correctly!
No doubt about it SFIV is the best fighting game out. I love Mortal Kombat and hearing that they are going back to the good old days brings good news to fighting fans across the globe.
Get SFIV Ninjustu! You will love it, and wished you did buy the fecking game at launch! I have never regretted buying the game as I have played all of them And loved them all |

| It's really more of a knee-jerk reaction. Saying a particular fighting game is a 'button bashing' game to people that know how to play it properly, is like telling a proffessional golfer that golf is just hitting a ball with a stick and hoping for the best :P |

I have come across some button bashing frenzy people via online on SFIV. Still won though, but at the same time annoying as hell! |

| I've certainly not come across any button bashers online with SF IV, the only people I seem to come across are people who have spent far too long studying every move for every character. |

| Annoyingly i'm REALLY excited about SSFIV, if not more so than when the original came out. Just need to figure out whether i need to keep the original game or trade it in for the new one now. |
