Lets get the ball rolling!
Very impressed with it and had a lot of fun on the beta and the pace of it is so fast.
There are never parts where I have nothing to do and the maps are very well balanced, controlling the mechs are fun and I even like losing on it!
As it's awesome when your titan explodes and you are in the middle of the air falling down trying to land of the rival titan to rodeo it lol, as well as the escape at the end.
But it does need more variety but I can't judge something like that with the game until it comes out. But I hope there are more mech types to choose from, as there is very little differences with the three on the beta and would remove the possibility of it getting boring.
The bots need to be smarter as they are totally pointless from what I have played, if anything they can just get in the way.
Anyway I think it's a system seller and I can't see an exclusive being better than it this year at least.
My main grubble about getting it is that for 40-50 quid I would expect to play 100 hours out of it for my money personally, which I can't see happening.
Shame it doesn't have a campaign for it which would have tipped me to getting it, will just wait until I can get a cheap copy of it.
What have others thought of the beta so far?Last edited on Wed 26 February 2014 by Exnor

It's ok. Fun, certainly, but not enough for me to spend the full price at launch. The problem with that is that it's online-only, so not getting it at launch will put you at a disadvantage.

I too am a little gutted at the lack of campaign.
I usually just play campaign in these games and a little bit of the MP at which point I sell on. Buying a game for MP scares me but I did so for GOW3 and that turned out ok.
I'm up to around 100+ hours on BF4 now and growing tired. So looking for a new challenge. Since I got access to the Beta BF4 has not had a look in.
I agree variety needs to improve but this is a limited Beta and you can sort of see that there is scope for mass unlocks the Beta is barely scratching the surface. The recent news article about other maps/unlocks/modes etc are very encouraging.
The most impressive thing for me is the quick turnaround on servers. Over the three to five days since launch the user base has gone from very limited to not so limited to busy to very busy. The staged approach was a clear test of MS cloud and I am more than impressed by how the service handled this.
The gameplay is phenomenal. I had reservations about the grunts, npc etc. however they do add to the mechanics. Picking off the odd grunt to boost your score is great. Some of the maps are quite large for 6v6 pilots so these add to the game. You may think that the game could then take a higher number of players. But once the Titans are introduced those large maps become pretty small all of a sudden and chaotic. The player vs player levels are therefore spot on and anyone with concerns should have them erased.
The main thing I enjoy is the variety no two games have been the same and I'm learning new paths, tricks and techniques all the time.
The burn cards really enhance the game. My favourite so far is one that made everyone show up on my screen as red skeletons. I could see this through walls etc.
Some great concepts.
My biggest fear thus far is that it's not got great core graphics. I think this can be resolved by the release date. Titans and Maps feel a little gritty however the effects seem to be spot on. If the resolution is upped to 900p I think this will alleviate my fears.

I don't know, it's a big push to improve the graphics by launch but the update has helped with other games so far and even the Titanfall beta.
I think it will be more down to Microsoft and their updates from what I have seen. But year like I said it's just a beta and there were always gonna have more in the main game, there are loads of maps on release and hopefully more variety with the titans.
I think if your biggest fear is graphics and you have already played 100 hours on battlefield karlius, you should buy this game :P

I'm really enjoying it so far...the games are always exciting, fast paced and you never seem to be running around for too long without bumping into someone.
My only concern is about the longevity of the Multiplayer...for example will there be enough character progression and upgrades to keep me interested?
I'm not convinced as yet about that, however as far as Beta's go this is by far the best one I've been a part of

I played the beta on PC, and it's got me seriously considering an X1 next month. I do enjoy playing Call of Duty from time to time, but this really blows it out of the water. It's not just the mechs and the parkour, but the balance of the game seems brilliant. I'm not particularly incredible at FPS games (usually place in the top half of the team, though rarely at the top) but with the inclusion of bots it means that even crappy players can contribute.
The only thing that puts me off is the lack of split-screen..

Color me jealous. I may or may not be able to get my hands on a console to play it and my rig isn't good enough to run it at the best settings.
While pretty much everything I have seen on the gameplay has left me wanting to pony up the dough, the haters are out in full force. You should see the youtube comments.
"If you take away all the things that make it NOT CoD, it's just CoD". Hilarious.
If I can make a console happen it will be the bundle(if they are still available), and this and KI will be keeping me more than busy, I'd wager.

In participation of the Beta for only a max of 3 days, it was surely fun. I was always pumped when I get home from work and spend my whole night playing Titanfall. It's far the best shooter that I've been so far since Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
With it's release, for people who pre-ordered it through the site and will just do a digital download, it will have around 21GB of compressed files (uncompressed is 48GB, according to some sources).
With 48GB for a game, it would mean that there will be a lot of contents once the game is launched. Even though it's Multiplayer only, their thoughts of making the "Campaign" as online cooperative is interesting. You progress through the campaign with other players, this seems fun tho.
But overall, I'm buying the game once it releases this March 11, 2014.
Standy by for Titanfall!
