video game novels
After seeing the article from videogamer.com about the battlefield 3 novel and recently they also run an article about the new bioshock novel that is soon to release explaining the events that destroyed rapture. I wanted to know if you have ever read any video game based novels or have intentions to read any?
I am definatly going to try and get the bioshock novel from my local libary as from what I read in the extract it seemed very good and im just generally interested to see the back story to a game I realy enjoyed.

I was tempted to pick up the Assassins Creed novel but I just think novels should be made first and any other media format released after for some reason.

I don't get time to read words on paper anymore, I'm either here or gaming.

Plus I'd be hesitant, books are usually better because you can let your imagination form the universe that the story unfolds in, with a Bioshock novel, whilst the extra background would probably be neat, I already know what a Big Daddy looks like so there'd be no real surprises there.

In the case of the Harry Potter books, my Hogwarts as I imagined it was way better than the movie version and Ron Weasley wasn't quite so gormless.
