Hmm. Interesting choices (in this case, 'interesting' meaning 'not what i'd have picked').
The Mass Effect *2* in particular is an odd placement. Most people either tend to love the rpg-like aspects of 1, or the highly polished & mechanically-perfected 3. 2 was very much in the middle, not really satisfying either group of players. So seeing that singled out as the one to pick feels strange to me.

I never really got on with FO3 or Bioshock but I have no real quibbles with them as it's obviously just a personal thing. I'd have to agree with ME2 over ME1 or ME3 though.
ME1 had a great open feel but was mechanically clunky while ME3 became too narrow and had that ending. I thought ME2 had a very weak ending compared to ME1 in fact none of the ME series had any battles to rival the fight with Saren. ME2 just wowed me with the stupid and the ME3 ending... well let's not derail the thread but goddam did I hate that ending. ME3 had some good character work like ME2, exceeding it in places particularly the Quarian/Geth stuff, but again the ending just retroactively ruined all that hard work.
Infinite for me just fell apart by the last third with the combat getting so damn repetitive, yes I was just using a few guns and powers but the games economy meant not focusing on a few of each meant being underpowered for the final slog. Also the whole plot fell apart for me rather quickly when thinking about it afterwards which is a shame but c'est la vie.
MGS4 was good but seemed unsure of whether to be a sneaky title or GunBro 2000 (I do love Kojimas obsession with obscure real world guns though, go figure). Also 20 minute cut scenes? No thank you by the time the end rolled around I was so hacked off with the constant cut scenes in the final segment I wanted to burn the damn disc.
