The best place(s) to download trial games?
Hello everyone,
I would like to try the trial version of the game "Tough Trucks: Modified Monsters" (2003).
The one that I found on cnet.com doesn't work (it's just a loader that tries to download the trial from a dead link).

Do you know where I can download it from?

And what's the best place(s) to download trial games in general?

Thank you

Haven't checked it but you could try Gamehead for the trial, it needs your email addy though.

Trials in general? Get the Steam client then click on 'Demos' at the top, it has hundreds.

I had a quick look for you but I could not find it anywhere besides where FM mentioned. I did however read up on a lot of people struggling to run the trial version so the best solution if you can't get it to work might be to buy it. It's quite an old game so I am sure if you look around you can find it cheap.

Thanks, I tried Gamehead but unfortunately the link doesn't work anymore. It wasn't stored on the Gamehead server, but somewhere on trymedia.com.
It's a pity such trials are not stored somewhere, they can be of much value even after decades and even more so after centuries.

I know it's easier to say than to do it, but the gaming industry should take seriously the job of preserving the past.
