OK, I had a look at this yesterday and it would seem this site allows you to play your mates online. This could be just the thing I have been looking for, as there are a multitude of games to choose from.
I just need someone to help me test it out properly. This will simply involve one of you lot joining the site and then me hosting a private match against you. I just want to see if a) it can be done, and b) the games are suitable/fun.
Can I have a volunteer? Please?

I would like to hold an online tournament for this website simply to find who is the best gamer*. But in order for this to work I need the buy in from as many people as possible, which is where you lot come in.
Having discussed this with
a fellow forumite
already I can only really see this working one of two ways.
Firstly, we split it up by console and genre/game. We select a few games per console, each one representing a genre of gaming. We then have either a table (ie. fastest times) or a knockout tournament to find the best player. We would need to minimise the number of games as much as we can, or else it will get silly.
Or we say "To Hell with the consoles" and just play a selection of
flash games
... highest scores win.
It's not perfect I know, and there are always the logistics to sort out, but I'd be interested in having peoples opinions on this. From an organisational point of view the flash games would be easier, but I don't know if people would be that keen.
So here are my questions to you...
Is this something you would like to take part in (staff and forum as it's not official)?
Would you be happy if we used flash games?
*At one game, yes, I know.

Great stuff guys.
If you get a chance to play each other could you let me know how it goes? Is it easy to set up private matches? Any games tickle your fancy? Is the site something we could use?
Edit:
dinglepop
looks like the only decent game on there where you can challenge a friend. There is a word game and a jigsaw, neither of which I would really call video games.
If you guys find you can play the racing games between you let me know.

When I tried to set up a Hover Kart Racing game, it copied a link to my clipboard, which was for me to send to people via email/IM program/microblog/social network. So, I guess we could just tweet that? Or post it in this thread?
Do you got game?
