Having discussed this with a fellow forumite already I can only really see this working one of two ways. Firstly, we split it up by console and genre/game. We select a few games per console, each one representing a genre of gaming. We then have either a table (ie. fastest times) or a knockout tournament to find the best player. We would need to minimise the number of games as much as we can, or else it will get silly. Or we say "To Hell with the consoles" and just play a selection of flash games... highest scores win. It's not perfect I know, and there are always the logistics to sort out, but I'd be interested in having peoples opinions on this. From an organisational point of view the flash games would be easier, but I don't know if people would be that keen. So here are my questions to you... Is this something you would like to take part in (staff and forum as it's not official)? Would you be happy if we used flash games? At one game, yes, I know. I suppose if i'm only following people from here it probably won't be that bad. Ugh. I suppose if needs must :P Oh and incidentally Ninjutsu, instant action games aren't flash games, they're just browser based. Think Free Realms, the games are quite big and expansive. EDIT: Signed up to omgpop.com. Profile name 'Octopus Volcano' and i forgot how awesome some of the games on instant action really are. All we need to do now is find out if it is possible to hold private matches on some of the more exciting games (i.e. not scrabble and not jigsaws). Admittedly the Bubble Bobble type game is quite a laugh, but I'd prefer something with a bit of driving and/or guns. Report Reply
