Members of the Month - May '07 Winners!

Hello fellow members!

Sorry for the delay in this month's pickings - as some of you already know it's been very busy at the Pro-G towers whilst we've been preparing for development on the brand new site, which should be here in the next 2-3 months. It will have a hell of a lot more community features and we'll be creating a brand new Forum.

All winners of Members of the Month, past and present, have been given 'Founder' status on the forums; these members will be given a extra privileges over regular users on the Forums in the long term. We've decided that the first privilege to be offered will be first access to the new site/community for testing, before anyone else.

Founder status may also cease from the launch of the new website (but this promotion will continue, in some form or another). This is yet to be decided.

One other thing - I've spent a little time today organising the Members of the Month archive - i've now put the month + each of the past winners + a link to the thread in the post, which should make it a little easier for everyone to see.

There are several things you can do to help boost your profile on the forums and help you win - things such as starting new threads on interesting topics, intelligent discussion, and well-written posts are all things that benefit the forum and promote growth of a nice community, and therefore are the factors that most influence our decision.

It's also very important to mention that post counts are completely irrelevant in this promotion - in fact posting in excess with low quality posts can even harm your chances of winning.
