Streetfighter X Tekken
With a few days remaining till launch I figure it's a good time to see what kind of interest we could have for some form of SfxT competition.

I have a few ideas, but feel free to suggest your own. Reply to this thread if you're interested, including which platform you'll have the game for. And a bit closer to the official launch we'll decide the when, what and how's of whatever it is we're going to do.

A 2v2 tournament would be awesome, but we'd need at least 16 players on a single platform to do a knockout tournament. Not to mention people need to learn the game and also learn to play with a partner.

What I'd be inclined to do is run a league table of singles and one of doubles. Then seed the tournament based on league placement. The best kind of atmosphere in a knockout is when you know who the good people are and who are the ones to beat. Just lifts the competition, always more exciting to watch.

This all depends on interest though. We'd need more people for it to be worthwhile doing doubles matchups.

I'm gonna call it: We wait till most people are done with ME3, it's just not worth it at the moment. Not enough people Smile And seriously anyone thats played SF4 and thinks they'll just pick up where they left off with a few changes is in for a shock, you really needs some training to get used to the game!
