| I can't make up my mind about him.
He had his silly little rant in January about Man Utd cheating and getting all the ref's favours.
But you don't see Inter complaining when they had a player sent off in each leg against them, which were wrong decisions and changed how both games went.
Now he sells one of his best players from last season (pretty much forcing him out), for a nice profit mind, which makes it fine.
But Liverpool have been good in Europe mind, but I'm still not sure about him.
What do you guys think? |

| I don't think hes forced Alonso out all its Alonso who forced the situation.
I can see it from both sides tho go back a year Liverpool were trying to bring in Barry and the situation with Alonso was far from rosey talks with Juve bout a transfer etc. But in Benitez defence the season before Alonso was not at his best and at the time I didn't disagree with possibly replacing him.
Then he has probably the season of his life and has his head set on a move back to Spain.
Funny how it was a silly rant by Rafa but today Sir Alex had his own little digs but its called mind games?
I think overall tho you have to look at how far Liverpool have come under him and last season the points total was good enough to win a chamionship any other year (highest amount to not win a title ever in prem) and the fact we are now a force a Europe. I believe hes a strong willed intelligent and does everything with the best intentions, I don't think Liverpool would significantly progress by replacing him as things stand. |

| I think he has been a better manager than gerrard houlier (spelling) ever was! an even though he hasn't governed the team to any sustained sucess, as a supporter im behind him all the way. I don't think managers get enough time these days to establish themselves on a team!
I think whoever he buys in the next week or so will be cruicial for the coming season, as we need more strength in the squad. Ive heard aquillani mentioned frequently who im not sure about. All I do know is if glen johnson turns out to be our biggest most expensive singing this summer, were in trouble! lol |

| Ref : Alonso and Barry. There were strong rumours at the time that UEFA were to enforce a minimum quota of Englsh players, which many believe was the main reason for the push to Barry over Alonso.
Personally, I think that now he seems to have overcome his overly cautious approach to games, there is nothing left to fault the man on. At least six times last season we failed to beat teams at Anfield who just parked the bus, and had we gone all out attack we may well have won three and lost three. That would have been enough to win us the league, and it seems as if that lesson has hit home. Witness the goal fests in the second half of last season as evidence for this. |

| He's alright really - has bought us every major trophy except the one that counts most, but hopefully we can sort that his year.
What I don't understand though is a) his continual seeming lack of acknowledgment that we NEED a new striker and a right winger and b) his purchase of Aquilani. Seems to me we've just blown £20mil on an Italian player (risky anyway as they don't tend to settle well from Serie A in the Premier) who has played 27 league games in three years due to injury and whom Italian media say is consistently an under performing player. Not sure he's what we need at all. |

The next Dossena if you ask me, but they could of got Owen but said no to him by the looks of it.
Kuyt sort of plays right wing for Liverpool mind. |

Hence why we need a new right winger |
