Do you think Ronaldo going to Madrid was a smart move for him? Or do you think he should have stayed with Man U? I think it will be fun to watch him in the Spanish league but I wonder if that was in his best interest.

It was a good move for him. It's not like he has done a Sol Campbell and gone to a lesser team in a lesser league. And it is where he wanted to play.

Well I watched Ronaldo play for Madrid against Marseille and he was fantastic, plays better for them than he did at Man Utd.
I still don't think any player is worth 80 million mind (in football terms, not marketing)

Love him or hate him, he is talented and wonderful to watch when in full swing.

He is one of the few players that can make the difference between a winning and losing team.

9 goals in 7 games for Madrid? Shows it all really. Playing with the likes of Kaka and etc is good for him yes. Good to Man Utd no. Obviously Man Utd isn't the same with Ronaldo lefted.

He has won everything in England and he was a Real Madrid fan anyway. So its his dream move to go play for them. £80mil? Way too excessive for a football player, but money talks than actions in football these days.

9 in 7 also shows that in his last season at Old Trafford he was not a happy chappy - not applying himself
