News that it might really be Ben Affleck to be casted as The Dark Knight. For my opinion, Affleck does not have the aura as the Dark Knight or to be the mutlibillionaire playboy Bruce Wayne.
Any thoughts of this?
And if there is already a topic for this, kindly let me know!

I thought it was already confirmed that Ben Affleck would be playing Batman?
At first I wasn't too sure that it was a good fit. However, if you look back, people have had issues with many casting choices in Batman films in the past which turned out just fine:
-Michael Keaton: People didn't think he was right as he'd previously stuck to comedic roles
-Heath Ledger: Rom-com actor turned gay cowboy, playing one of the most maniacal of all comic-book villains? Yeah, plenty of people had trouble with that one!
Here's a good article on the subject: http://www.thewrap.com/jesse-eisenbe...usually-wrong/
I'll admit, I still have my reservations. However, Ben Affleck is a pretty good actor; I'm gonna reserve judgement until I've seen it!

Well, I have to agree that we need to wait for the actual film to say if Affleck is a good cast for Batman's role though. I would prefer that it should be Bale for Batman's role but no, he perfectly stated that The Dark Knight Rises will be the last film as him being the Dark Knight...

Yep it was confirmed last year that Affleck was taking the role. Not totally convinved myself, but he's a better actor than he often gets credit for, and tbh I think in the scheme of things this film has far bigger problems than that.
Wonder Woman has been horribly mis-cast in it for a start (Gal Godot), as has Lex Luthor (Jesse Esienberg).
Also, this film will potentially have all of the pacing, plot and script problems that plagued Man of Steel of steel in the end, but without Chris Nolan's steadying influence on the whole project.
Zack Snyder has free reign with this one, and although he already has a great plot template he could follow in Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns novel, I think this could end up being an almighty cluster**** of a movie.
I say this as a massive DC comics fan

i couldn't agree more, the concept of it is a great one! but the overall decision to involve wonder woman and i hear rumblings of a green lantern appearance so they can link it all to a justice movie is just a recipe for disaster.
as for afleck i think he wont be too bad but Jesse Eisenberg as lex luthor is truly stupid! i would of had bryan cranston or anyone in fact, i think eisenberg can only play one dimension character and he will be bloody awful in the new superman film.
