Episode 3 of the State of Decay series just went up; I think it's a really fun one!
I've had a lot of lovely feedback with these videos, which is nice, because it's just me and a video game that I've been enjoying :]
That being said, I wanted to ask what you think of the current format. At the moment, it's a 30-minute video, once a week. What do you think about that? Too long/short? Too frequent/infrequent?
Lemme know! Cheers.

Hurray, about time this forum was put to it's intended use again!
(Besides Pants Man of course)
I'm quite fond of how you're already doing it to be honest.
These LP's are distinctly you and that's important in my book.
The choice of game really helps too. There's something about... flawed games making for more interesting viewing.
Also gained a new found respect for what it takes to keep a decent quality running commentary going as well.
For the kind of open world it is, 30 minutes seems a pretty fair chunk to mix in the kind of variety on offer.
If I were you, the only kind of format change I would consider would possibly be doing them in 15, or maybe 20 minute sessions twice a week but just because I'd consider it doesn't mean I'm saying it's superior.
Although from what I understand of the game, that would help alleviate the problem of your supplies almost completely running out between sessions, forcing the start of the next session to be dedicated to food scavenging.
For the record, I hope the rest of the team never lets you anywhere near matches, lighters or any form of open flame.
Hell, they are taking their lives into their own lives even letting you near the kettle!
Took me a few moments to get why Matt's lunging at Turtle Beach suddenly faded in at the end. Thought another video had started playing on it's own somewhere, then thought it was a mistake in making the video, then realised Marcus was 'lunging' to get away.
I really have to question your thought process in using a firecracker to escape, having little health and then thinking "OK, now I'll re-engage all the zombies that nearly killed me!"

Episode 4 beats episode 3 but nothing is better than watching Chris fail with a Molotov cocktail!

I'm utterly fine with the time on the vids, 30 minutes seems perfect - a wonderfully immersive chunk.
The times i've genuinely screamed at the telly ( watching via PS3 ), not because of any sense of 'you're doing it wrong', but because i'm so invested and don't want to see a character die.
In the recent episode up to the farm I lost a character in my play through. I tried to run away, was chased by the horde, and got to the stage where my stamina was very, very low. Swinging got me pounced on. Running away didn't get me very far. Those two minutes .. oh those two minutes! My heart was in my mouth.
So, yes .. more of these, Chris - and ta for getting me into the game. I don't think i'd have heard of it otherwise, never mind bought it.
