I've never really listened to podcasts before but decided to give this a try. I liked it a lot; I thought the presenter (Neon, was it?) was very witty and generally things were pacy and interesting. I would say that I'd rather it were shorter (under an hour), but apparently most podcasts are longer than this anyway, so its something of a moot point.

Anyway, good stuff generally; might become my first regular podcast.

Right, after what seems like a very long time in the making, numerous staff and three different offices, the pilot episode of the VideoGamer.com podcast is ready. We've decided to release this episode to our community only, with the plan being for a show to appear each Friday from now on, so we'd love to hear what you think.

The show is presented by Neon Kelly (the voice of our video reviews and previews editor), and he's joined by myself (Tom Orry, editor), Wesley Yin-Poole (deputy editor) and Seb Ford (video producer).

The pilot runs approximately 75 minutes and covers a wide range of topics, such as if Sony is going to cut its gaming division, Street Fighter IV, Neon's adventures in Fable II, Seb's age and, somehow, my social life. Right click and save as on the link below, have a listen and provide us with your thoughts in this thread. The email address mentioned isn't working yet, so please hold off with the questions for the time being.

If you subscribe via itunes it will automatically download to iTunes when the new one is available (assuming you have iTunes open) otherwise you can subscribe via any of the other methods (I recommend Yahoo if you already have a Yahoo account).

You can grab the podcast on your RSS reader of choice through this site, but iTunes should do the job nicely - just load iTunes up and search "videogamer.com" and you should see the podcast image as the 3rd of 4th option.

Searching "videogamer" results in almost every games podcast appearing in iTunes so I would definitely suggest adding the ".com" at the end.

Im just editing down this weeks edition, should be up soon!
