As suggested by altaranga, we're now going to have a permanent thread here in which people can pose questions to the team. We'll then attempt to answer a few of them during the subsequent podcast.

Since this is a bit of an experiment, I can't really say much more about how this feature is going to work; I guess it'll depend on how many questions we get, and what they are...

In the meantime, ask away!

PS: We tend to record the podcast on thursday afternoons, so treat thursday morning as a weekly deadline of sorts.

If all the land were apple-pie,
And all the sea were ink;
And all the trees were bread and cheese,
What should we do for drink?

Where will you find roads without cars, forests without trees, lakes without fish, and cities without houses?

Walk on the living, they don't even mumble. Walk on the dead, they mutter and grumble. What are they?

What's the toughest boss fight you've endured in a videogame?

So far, which game of 2009 would you recommend above all others; and which game should we look out for the most?

Have you considered reviewing more games in a humourous fashion (as you did in your last podcast)?

If I lay here... if I just lay here... would you lie with me and just forget the world?

"Quickfires carried over from last week as you surprised me by reading out the stumpy question...":
  • RPGs or FPSs?
  • Sky 1 or Virgin 1?
  • King Kong or Godzilla?
  • TicTacs or Polos?
  • Read a book or Watch a film?
  • Lions or Tigers?
  • Megan Fox or Girls Aloud (all at once)?
  • Deal or No Deal?
  • You injure your wrist so badly that the doctor tells you to rest it completely for 6 weeks (i.e. no video games). Could you wait the entire 6 weeks, yes or no?
  • Your mother sits you down to tell you that your father is not your biological dad. Which story would you rather hear? That your biological father is unknown because your mum went to a swingers party and can only narrow it down to one of 20 people, or that you are the result of your mum having a sordid affair for two weeks with the star of the pantomime at the time, Les Dennis?

If you could help design any type of game set during any period of history, what type of game would it be and when would it be set?

A few ideas to get the grey matter working...
A first person shooter set in Victorian England?
An open world game set during the American Civil War?
An RPG set in 1930s Europe?

Considering this years Transformers film was called ROTF, what will the next film be?

Staying on this theme: Decepti-girl - would you? (even with the 'tail'?)

1) What is your favourite driving model? - e.g. Forza because it's simtastic, Ridge Racer because it's arcadalicious, or PGR because it's inbetweenariffic.
2) Because you're all practically 14 years old, what posters do you have in your bedrooms?
3) Which games can you give Wes a thorough thrashing at? Please list as many as possible as I'm sure he has done some Street Fighter gloating by now and deserves it. If anyone lists fewer than 3 games, they do a punishment, as chosen by Wes ;p
4) Who loves orange soda?
