I'm still trying to adjust to the new style, let alone the bugs! Having been here for 2 and a half years I feel lost without the old style... Scared

I'm sure I'll get used to it, change is good after all.

The PM's are slightly messed up too, when I received a message from Neon all the apostrophe's were replaced with รข?? Huh

User registrations seem to be working. Just received a e-mail asking for confirmation on a test account I set up 12 hours ago.

Nice? Love them? Hate them? Post your thoughts. I'm still feeling my way around the new bits but so far seems great.

Just wondering, is there anyway of marking off threads as read with the new forums at all? I tended to use it to help me keep up with which threads were being updated, but can't seem to find anyway to do it now.

View All Latest Posts link can be found at the top after clicking on the Community Tab or after clicking on Forum Index. Bold lettering and a red star next to the thread means you've yet to read the latests posts on it. After you've read it the red star will disappear and the thread will no longer be bold, until it is posted in again.

There's not yet a way to manually mark of threads without reading them (yet at least). In theory the idea is that you read it to mark it as read - if this isn't happening it's a bug Smile

If I've read a thread it's showing up as read, so all is good there. I just found it useful being able to mark all threads as read as it meant I could see at a glance when new posts were made across a whole forum.

Other than that though, I'm liking the new look. Good work guys Wink

Like FM says, you can view all new threads by clicking the 'View all latest posts' button on the index page. This gives you a mega-overview of the latest posts in the whole forum.

In the actual MOTM thread I can't see the majority of peoples comments when viewing that thread.

Getting a blank page now with this error message on it:

Quote:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';' in /usr/www/includes.2/comlib/components/Profile.php on line 573

... when trying to view my profile page.

Edit: Sorted nowLast edited on Sun 8 March 2009 by Rogue_Soul

Rogue_soul, I find your display picture and avatar to be, quite frankly, somewhat misleading. How upsetting.
